“I’ve always been fascinated by beautiful fragrances and the way art can evoke emotion. Candles felt like the perfect canvas to bring those two passions together — creating moments of serenity, warmth and beauty, not just for myself, but for every home they become a part of.”

For Prachi, a candle was never just wax and a wick. It was a way to hold a feeling in your hands.

Lit House of Candles began in 2024, out of a fascination with beautiful fragrances and a belief that everyday moments deserve a little more warmth. What started at a single kitchen table — testing scents, refining wicks, and hand-pouring batch after batch — slowly grew into a brand trusted by homes across India.

Prachi leads the craft side of the business: the pouring, the fragrance work, the packaging, and the storytelling that gives each collection its character. Her standard is simple but strict — if a candle wouldn’t earn a place in her own home, it doesn’t leave the studio.

That care is why every Lit House candle is still made in small batches with 100% soy wax, never rushed and never mass-produced. From the first festive diya candles to this year’s Rakhi collection, the intention has stayed the same: create something people don’t just use, but remember.

“I want someone to light one of our candles after a long day,” she says, “and feel their home soften around them. That’s the whole point.”
